I am Jorge Paiva a indie developer. since the first time I used visual basic to build a dice game started enjoying to program, it was so diferent than what I thougth and so I decided to learn all I can about programming and now I kow how to program in diferent languages like: visual basic, c#, c++ and Java.that is for the creation of apps like games, e-books etc.I also learn other things related to computing like creating websites in html and aspx, using dreamwever and visual studio 2010 and because I love playing video games I decided to learn how to create them and now I am learning from scratch designing and creating games in directx already participated in the game jam twice in Luton university and loved working in a team with designer and artists and other developers and I also have a day job wich has nothing to do with programming and that is why I decided to become a indie developer  so I can jump start a career doing what I like and if everything goes well then I will just dedicate my full time developing apps for windows and adroids maybe other platforms too.

I started learning to program computer games in the summer 2012 but I always loved playing computer games since I was a child, so far I have participated in two Game jams, the goal was to create computer games whithin 48 hours in a  team   on each  game jam I helped creating 1 platform game  side scroller like super mario  bros and now that I have some experience and know exatly how to create 2d games I decided to try my luck and become a indie developer.
